Sunnysu in Bonn

Unfortunately there is no longer any black yogurt ice cream. That was the main reason I was always there. Too bad. The ice cream I ordered (cherry ice cream) was still a poem. But I probably won't be drawn into the store now.

I would have liked to have given more stars ... There were three of us on site and unfortunately we were served by rather unfriendly and NOT customer and service-oriented employees (m / f / d). The shop was well attended. So we first looked for a place and waited until the first rush to order was through. When ordering, I ask whether card payment is possible. Answer of the employee: "Where do we get there when everyone here pays for their waffle by card ?!" Wow, that's what I call a great start, the gentleman has definitely chosen the right job, close to the customer. So all three of us placed our order and sat down again. The colleague came to our place 3 times a few minutes later and asked 3 times whether we had number XX on our receipts (you need these to individually assign your ordered waffle afterwards). At the third request, my companion emphasized that she had already asked twice, we had already given her our 3 pick-up numbers and we still didn't have the one we were looking for. Then the gentleman from the first, let's call it "encounter", switched on and said "Hey, my colleague just asked you" and "Are you sure your friend doesn't have the number?" Um ... THREE of us sat at a table of three. The question is therefore superfluous. To the products: The waffles are just waffles, just average. The ice, joar, is just ice. Tasty, but also average in my subjective opinion. Frozen yogurt and soft ice cream - SURPRISE - did not exist. The coffee is really delicious, but I don't go to such a shop for that. You want to be "modern" and "hip" with your concept, then you don't offer card payments (hello 20th century - hello digitization), have unfriendly employees and then tend to offer products that are more average - no, that absolutely doesn't fit Online presence (Facebook, Instagram).

Delicious. Employees on this day at least not that friendly, so 1 point deduction. Otherwise I can recommend it!

Great ice cream, first class.

Nice idea, filled bubble waffle filled with ice cream and decorated with various sauces and sweets, is difficult to eat with a small plastic spoon. € 6.50 is a steep price for a change but ok. The waitress didn't have the best day.

The ice is great. So delicious

The frozen yogurt was mediocre and the toppings mushy (strawberries) and peeled (mango). Unfortunately, the ice cream couldn't convince either. All in all, unfortunately not recommendable.

We always go with the whole family. Everyone gets everything to their own taste. We love the delicious freshly baked waffles with ice cream and chocolate. Simply heavenly.

Tried the waffle, it was great. Do try the cheese cake topping. One of the best I had. Great seating but one thing bothers why is that the staff there doesn't smile.. ;)

The concept is convincing and the ingredients are good. Due to the large selection there are countless possible combinations and it will never be boring. The coffee was very tasty and the selection of other drinks was sufficient and well chosen. If you fancy sweet food, you've come to the right place

Great waffles, ice cream and perfect service. Here you can put together great waffles and ice cream. Various toppings. Delicious. Staff are super friendly. The dog was also allowed in. It was a pleasure.

Great place to get waffles, ice cream, frozen yoghurt or just coffee. Waffles can be chosen as regular or chocolate flavored, accompanied with ice cream or frozen yoghurt based on your choice. In addition to these, you can select some toppings such as fresh fruits or pieces of candy/chocolate. They also offer sauces. One thing to keep in mind is that the serving time may take a while during busy hours. You receive a number for your order, and they call it out when it is ready. For me it took about twenty minutes to get my order on a Sunday. To conclude, the atmosphere is nice and the service is friendly, so I would recommend it.

Very nice place for an ice cream.

Waffles in several variations and above all an ample selection and toppings of blueberries, cookies and nuts are all there. Ice cream, of course, still on it. If you fancy a sweet overdose of "dessert", this is the place for you.

There would be 5 stars if there were better, so more seating. Eating this wonderful ice cream while eating on the street makes the experience a little bit break-down and it's hard for children to do so

Even though I was not having exact cash amount, still they took my order. The quality of service and food is amazing. Of course I am carrying enough cash ? for next visits. Until now its one of my favourite spot.

The waffles here are delicious. I’ve never had something like that and I am glad that I tried it at Sunnysu. The staff was friendly and the ambiance was very nice.

Friendly, patient staff. On the first visit, I would like to get an overview, especially to the selection of ice cream, toppings and sauces. The raspberry ice cream tasted fresh and delicious in combination with the chocolate waffle. Order was pleasant and the nooky location also offers space to enjoy in peace

Rely nice staff. The waffles are unique and really worth a try. Good selection!

When charging premium prices, you have to offer a premium product and premium service. That’s not the case here. €7 for a bland waffle and not so great ice cream. Service is also crappy. I would not go back to this place.

Found this place on instagram but had to check it in person whem going to Bonn. Great place for a dessert for 7€(price from April 2018). If you don't want the whole dessert you can just ask for some icecream. Icecream flavours are traditional ones(good quality) but the choices for toppings and sauces is great such as kinder bueno, brownie, oreo, gummy bears, warm muss nougat etc. They have a vegan option for the dough of the waffle. We have also tried their coffee and it was a proper one. If I am again in Bonn I will definitely visit this place again!

Really good ice-cream and waffles, but unfortunately less than friendly customer service.That spoiled the overall experience.

LOVED THIS PLACE. They were very welcoming upon entering and explained the process clearly bother in German and in English as I had an English friend with me who didn't speak German. The ice cream must have been the best ice cream I've ever tried. We both got red velvet waffles and I took a scoop of the salted caramel ice cream. This is definitely one of my new favorite places. We were there Thursday around noon, so there were few people in the store.

Great place, vegan coal waffles and very friendly waiters, I totally loved it! 4 stars only because it is a bit expensive, but it is totally worth it. Will for sure come back again!!!

Megaaa delicious waffles that are not only stylish but also taste great. The boss let us try the new black frozen yogurt ice cream. Vegan and ultra delicious! Thank you :)

Maybe a bit overpriced for what they are offering, but certainly a (too?) sweet experience. I got the cocoa waffle with caramel and baked almonds (weren't any almonds in there), with caramelized walnuts and cookie crumbs. You also get to choose two sauces. It's nice that you can make your own custom desert, but for me it wasn't the greatest thing ever. Maybe I'll give it another try with a different combo at some point. It wasn't exceptionally good to make it worth my extra time spent at the gym on these. ☺️ Yes, they look fabulous, very instagrammable, but they weren't necessarily my kind of sweetstuff.
